Leatherhead Hockey Club

Our youngest members first pick up a hockey stick from the age of 7* and continue playing as a LHC colt until they reach 14. Over these 7 years, our colts are coached by England Hockey qualified coaches learning through engaging games, to maximise fun, touches on the ball, constant decision making as a collective introduction to hockey. This will help them all develop different techniques; game skills and team experience they need to move up to the adult section of the club when ready. This transition may be supported from age 13 through participation in adult training sessions and/or involvement in friendly matches.
